The Kiosk – Introduction
The Kiosk at the Agrarian Kitchen Eatery was born of the COVID crisis but has morphed into a successful operation in its own right. People come here to sit on the pleasant lawns and picnic on the snacks (think veal sausage rolls and lamb and vegetable pasties or focaccia sandwiches with interesting fillings) which you can peruse on the blackboard at the entrance to the kiosk (see below).
We take the short and pleasant drive to New Norfolk each weekend we are in Hobart to buy a loaf of their excellent sourdough bread and kefir butter and maybe a slice of walnut cake or a sausage roll depending on our whim. The bread lasts well throughout the week provided we show some restraint!
You can order some of their excellent coffee to enjoy on the lawn (there will be tables arriving soon)while you are waiting for your order to be assembled, or you can meet friends here and spend a pleasant half hour in the sun.
They also have a number of items of merchandise including the books that have been written about the Agrarian Kitchen.
The Kiosk is certainly somewhere we can recommend without reservation!
