Wide Awake Specialty Coffee – Introduction
Wide Awake Specialty Coffee is a relatively new venue on the fringe of North Hobart, but the operators are skilled professionals who have been involved in other ventures such as the excellent Sash in Sandy Bay and the quirky Agent Cooper in Glenorchy.
They mainly service the takeaway crowd here but there is a nice area in behind the counter where you can sit and enjoy a coffee in a real cup at your leisure.
We have seen coffee beans here that have been sourced from both Proud Mary and Sow Coffee in Melbourne, both of which do great sourcing and roasting.
